I just scored normal.

I did not like the fact that when you finished each test, the next melody came at you immediately!! It would have been helpful to have a bit of space to erase the last melody. Also the two part melodies were tricky. A more consistant sound would have been better also rather than different synth type sounds that were not very musical.

Interesting test. I am not concerned that I just scored normal. I have never made any money on a gig from having to tell someone if two goofy phrases are identical. I will test again and see if my score improves.

Edit. I took it 3 times and all were normal, but my score did improve just a bit each test. What is this test supposed to measure??

Edit 2. I took the test and answered all the question as "different" and the score was 50% so I guess the test is skewed the same on both answers.

Less than normal 67 percent correct --so to left of the curve. I was trying to concentrate, but the wife and kids were yelling at me to turn the computer volume down so they could hear the TV. I started out fairly well, but then was destroyed by the last 10 or so. Guess I am musically challenged.

Normal, but I think there should be a few second between the phrases. Maybe I'll retest...

80%. Very good. Which means the test is very bad because I stink worse than William Hung. Hung worse, too.

The new phrases don't give you much time to pick it up between choices.

I did score 68% however. Not good. My hearing is a bit wonky now however so I'll blame it on that.

78.2 % , but I did press SAME on one which I meant Different.

I need to now take the test for which button to actually select when I know the right answer

but the good news is I scored NORMAL..!! I am finally NORMAL at something !
I printed it out and gave it to my wife..this is the proof I've been trying to find for years ..

Bob, if you didn't score well it may be worse than you think.

Just look at those that are scoring well. If they are the reference for NORMAL , I agree, you are in big trouble !

Jay,
You and I scored exactly the same - 72.2
Not that I have any intention of doing so, but I believe with practice, quiet concentration and knowing what to expect, most of us would be able to improve our scores. (I wonder if that means the people who are already scoring so well with it can get to 100%)
