Rick Bakelite Harmonics

Veteran Hawaiian steeler Dick Sanft, who was a special guest at the Sacred Steel Convention this past weekend, set me straight on the weak harmonics on my Rick. It was simply a matter adjusting the pickup. I closed up the gap on the treble strings and backed off on the bass and BINGO! Excellent harmonics. Mahalo, Dick! I'm one happy Bakelite Rick owner. It's an incredible instrument.

By the way, Dick's music and personality added a lot to the Convention. People loved his music and he really enjoyed the sacred steel music as well. He and Chuck Campbell had a great time swapping tunes on my Bakelite.
