I see in No Depression Magazine (alt.country..whatever that is) that Bear Family Records, the incredible German label has reissued 24 1954-56 RCA tracks of Bud Isaacs.

The disc is titled "Bud's Bounce" and includes two takes of the signature tune.

Liner notes by Eddie Stubbs.

Need I say more?

There are also 2 Bud Isaacs CDs from a German label called Bronco Buster. You can probably get them on ebay. I have "Master of the Steel Guitar". Its all his stuff from 1950-55 with Red Foley. All 23 tunes are instrumentals and are amazing---a great choice of tunes. I don't know how much overlap in tunes there are on the Bronco discs vs. the Bear discs, but the 40 page booklet with the bear disc is probably worth it.
