I was flipping channels last night and hit on Eric Clapton playing. I watched the whole show, it was great. I never knew ZZ Top only had the 2 guitars unless there were others not seen. BB King was there. What a great show on PBS. There was a dobro and few finger slides. I checked on ebay and there were plenty to pick from. I think it's a few years old.

One of the best $24 dollars I've ever spent on a DVD. The Steve Via and Larry Carlton segments are some of my favorite performances. The old bluesmen got some great tone too...

"There was a dobro"
That wasn't just any dobro player-it was Jerry Douglas.

Ron,
Just like Marlin says, shortly after it came out, I got the DVD. Due to PBS air time considerations, the DVD is far more comprehensive than the PBS show.
Shortly after the concert, EC went out on tour. I saw him at Madison Sq. Garden and Eric had Robert Randolph open his show!!
At the end, EC brought back Robert to jam with him on the last two numbers!!!...Fantastic!!
Going to see EC again in NYC this fall!! TX
Rgds,
Ron
