I played on the road in the late '70's with a fiddler/guitarist named Bean Swenson, his real name was Albert but I don't know anyone who called him that. Just wondered if anyone knew him and whatever happened to him. He had a house near Rapid City, S. Dakota.

His fiddle was actually a 5-string 3/4 size viola, and he played a jazzy country style on a beatup old black Telecaster that had been through the mill and then some.... got a huge sound out of it.

Yes I know Bean. Met him when he played with Buddy Merridth from the Rapid City Area. Talked with Steeler Butch Butler a while back and he said he talk to Bean and all is well, and he still lives in the Rapid City area. Lee
