I played on the road in the late '70's with a fiddler/guitarist named Bean Swenson, his real name was Albert but I don't know anyone who called him that. Just wondered if anyone knew him and whatever happened to him. He had a house near Rapid City, S. Dakota.
His fiddle was actually a 5-string 3/4 size viola, and he played a jazzy country style on a beatup old black Telecaster that had been through the mill and then some.... got a huge sound out of it.[This message was edited by Jim Phelps on 02 July 2006 at 07:04 PM.]
