I know it's J.D. Maness on pedal steel (and it's knocking me out), but who's on the lead guitar? Very tasteful playing, and unpredictable in spots - which makes it all the more special. This guy's got a few pedal steel runs down pat on the fretboard - at times it's hard to tell which is which, his bending is so precise. The liner notes are with the CD case - wherever that is.

Chris, according to this link: http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery;jsessionid=9paimc8m3ej49?tname=bakersfield-bound&sbid=lc04a, it was Jim Monahan and Larry Park on electric guitar.

Sure is a great CD, ain't it?
