An office mate of mine, who plays a little guitar, has an interest in country blues, and wants an inexpensive resonator. He is looking at a Rogue. Any advice?

Is this him?

My advice is you get what you pay for. For a little more money, you can get a used or new entry level Regal with a cone upgrade that'll make it sound better.

Some good info on this website...

Leon,I was browsing through the accoustic room at my local candy store last week, and I spotted a Regal 6 string square neck.Good looking axe.Played it for a while and it sounded real good. About $350 street price. If I didn't already have a nice Dobro,I would have bought it.Check it out..PJ
