I was just reading the John Fahey string from May 26th and thought it should be mentioned that Fahey's prose writing is pretty phenomenal and anybody who's interested should check out his novels and short stories.

Most of them are out of print, but you can track 'em down on the web.

My favorite of his books: "How Bluegrass Music Destroyed My Life"

Ryan-- Fahey wrote a column for Guitar Player magazine, way back when. Highly informative and interesting takes on acoustic guitar music.

I had no idea he wrote fiction, though now that I think of it, some of his albums' liner notes would qualify. I'll follow up on your suggestion, & thanks!
