Not my music but an audio CD-R of music from an MP3. I burned it at 16x and it plays even in my clock radio. This is a reference to a post I made a year ago about buying CD-Rs masquerading as CDs. A poster said if you burn it slow it will play in anything. My experience has found this to be true. Not trying to dredge up an old argument just sharing my satisfaction with my investment, a Sony burner with Nero software.

I use recordnow software. I think it came with my Dell. I've had no problems as long as I tell it to record an audio disc. It will burn copies of music or make data discs. It's a good program.

If you put your CD in your microwave oven, a very interesting pattern can be burnt on the CD. It makes an interesting accompanyment to your own music. The microwave oven is NOT damaged.

By mistake I put a CD full of .wav files into my Phillips CDR-870 CD burner (standalone player recorder thingy). You should have heard the gawdawful racket...
The fact that track 1 was 67:43 should have been a hint that something was wrong.
