There's a new book about Duane Allman coming out in October...I hear you can preorder it at Amazon...

If it's the one by Randy Poe,I'm quoted in there tellin a few stories on Duane cause we were dormatory mates in miitary school and picked together briefly in 1963. -MJ-

Seeing the Brothers for the first time before they really broke out in eary 1971 was a most memorable experience. I was living in Boston at the time, as we did not no much about them, just the stories of the amazing shows they were putting on. We sat in the front row (floor) at the Boston Tea Party, and the passion and energy that came off that stage was truly stunning. Been a fan ever since...
