Looking for radio stations in Europe and the US that might be interesting "targets" for me to send my CD to - any recommendations?

So far I've covered NPR, KCRW, WNCW 88.7 (North Carolina), KRFC (Colorado), "Golden Flash" (Belgium), plus a lot of Norwegian contacts of course, and forumite Russ Young is working some Seattle stations for me...

Since I haven't been touring with this stuff, and won't be on this side of the summer, I really need to work the airwaves the best I can in order to get my music heard - any suggestions?

My CD isn't the easiest to label,- it's not a "blues" album though the blues influence is pretty obvious, it's not a "rock" album though there are strong elements of it here and there, it's not "new age" though some have suggested it based on a few airy ballads, it's not "jazzy" enough to fit into that category either, and it's mostly instrumental (8 of 11 tracks).
(I'm not making it easy for myself, huh? )

So any recommendations for radio stations that might be interested in something like this would be highly appreciated......

Thanks,
Steinar

WRUW in Cleveland most likely would be receptive to airing your CD:

The station here in New York is WFUV.

I also know a DJ at a smaller station in West Chester (a suburb of NY) that I'm sure would play it. I'll get you his contact info.
