I hope he's feelin' better than he was last night in Oakland. Poor George couldn't hit a note all night long from bein' hoarse. Then the PA takes a set length dump!! A truer train wreck I have never witnessed. Thank god I love George so much!! |

Hi Billy.... saw Old George on Thurs. night, George sound great up here. The Band sucked, real weak and mechanical and board with it all.The Only one that look alive was the fiddle player, enjoyed him alot.Tried to meet the steel player before the show , he wouldnt even admit that he was the steeler and walk away. Quess he was to busy thinking about all the George Cds he had to pedal.Wife thought she was at an amway show, it sure fleet that way ever 10 mins they were pushing Georges cds and tee shirts. If I Had to rate the Show 1 to 10.... Grorge 8 Band 2. Would I go to another george show, think I will wait another 40 yrs before I do..... |

With the possible exception of witnessing living country music history (how is it that George is still alive, after all that he has been through?), it sounds like I didn't miss much in not being able to attend the other night.
