I'm afraid only the seller can answer those questions for you. He or she says it's a custom made guitar, which to me implies a guitar made by a hobbyist rather than a standard production model. While probably a high quality instrument, judging from the picture, it's unlikely you'll see another one.

Mick,

It looks like it's factory made, or at least a small series from a respectable builder. The Bridge and saddle assemblies look serious enough to place it among factory made ones... same goes with the peghead! Also I wouldn't think a home tinkerer would make fretboards with the horseshoe inlays, or the mustang at the end... My guess is it's a small production run English steel. Just my $0.02 without knowing the history of steel guitar in England...

I think it might be a Bennett - he's the only steel maker in the UK. I agree it does look good. No bids yet..
