Guitar other than steel

Anyone ever hear of that? Our nephew just purchased one, supposedly 40 years old, great condition w/hard case, with the numbers A-4 and 03990[last # posibly 8]

Medeira or Madeira?
I believe Guild put out a cheaper import line called Madeira with clones of your basic guitar styles.

I think Jon is right.The music store that I delt with years ago stocked a guitar of that name.A friend of mine bought one and I played it.Good axe ,for the price.IMHO...PJ

I have one. I bought it new about 25 years ago. Great action... very easy to play... not much on tone, though.
