This Sunday, the trio "Medeski, Martin and Wood" will perform at the Cannery Ballroom.
They are fantastic musicians, and John Medeski plays a Hammond organ like no one else. He also has an amazing collection of other vintage keyboard instruments, along with an acoustic piano.
Last time they played Nashville was about 5 years ago, and they treated their fans to a wonderful show.
Each member has studied jazz, but the group now plays funky, groovy music that many young folks enjoy shakin' their booty to. They have about 10 albums, released over a period of 15 years. Check 'em out.
