Very interesting program called MakingMusic 2.7 for Mac OS X 10.2 or higher. It's a musical instrument encyclopedia providing a description, a picture and a sound clip per instrument. Web page is here:

Actually, there is a listing for pedal steel... It's under Guitar, Steel/Pedal

the picture is of a Sho~Bud LDG. Guess this ends the Sho~Bud vs. Emmons argument

If it's in an encyclopedia, it must be official!
