How about it, all you folks that are in the know.
Whats up with the opry broadcasts on GAC.
Most of them are reruns.
Is it a contract agreement to limit the number of hows or maybe a dissagreement.
clue us in.

I was wondering the same thing, watching the re-run last night. I enjoyed hearing Terry Crisp (from South Carolina!!) playing Farewell Party again, though.

Uhmm..I was wondering, although the broadcasts are re-runs..what about the live shows each Saturday night, you know , the shows in front of the REAL LIVE people who just can't wait to drive to Nashville and get them some of them thar Opry Tickets..

here's my question..or maybe my theory...

Is the Live show an exact copy of a Live show that was at some at other time ? Did they get the same performers and same musicians and tell them to play exactly what they did the last time they were on the Opry?

I mean thats what a re-run is, isn't it ?
just thinkin' out loud..

Hey Stephen..whats up..
