Hi,

I'm managing an Irish singer/songwriter and I need an english management contract as a blueprint. Does anyone know where to get one (for free, of course )?

Thanks a bunch!

Hi Joe,

thanks a lot, but the first one isn't really a contract; it's more a letter of intent and the second one is kjust a sample. It stops at paragraph 3... This one I've found also.

But thanks for your effort. Anyone else?

Try here Martin,
I've also got one in one of my Music Business Books, but they are at work and I can't remember which one. http://www.musiciansunion.org.uk/html/advice_live_manager.php

Hi again Martin,
On page 280 of a book called "This Business of Artist Management" , by Xavier Frascogna and Lee Hetherington, there is a pretty comprehensive management contract.
It's actually a US one, but that will not matter in this case. It would be worth adding a clause stating which legal system any dispute would be settled under though.
It would be worth your while to get the book, though if time or money is tight, let me know and I'll scan the seven contract pages and email them to you.

Cheers!
Dave
