I've heard it said that entertainers always die in threes, i.e. Patsy Cline, Hawkshaw Hawkins, Cowboy Copas, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, The Big Bopper. Well, this week we lost three great entertainers. Howard Morris, better known as Ernest T. Bass of the Andy Griffith show, a fine actor and director. Thurl Ravenscroft who was the voice of Tony the Tiger, Disney movies, as well as the singer for the Grinch Christmas Special who possessed one of the finest bass voices in the business, and Eddie Albert, great dramatic and comedy actor and singer in movies and television, best known as Oliver Wendall Douglas on the Paul Henning hit TV series "Green Acres". Condolences go out to the families of these great showmen who we will never see the likes of again in our liftime. God give ye rest, gentlemen. |

Last week was Jimmy "King of Bluegrass" Martin, Frank Gorshin(the Riddler in the original Batman tv series), and the great Bobby Thompson of Nashville's "A" team and Hee Haw fame. |

Including Frank Gorshin with the other two was certainly a connection I would have never thought of.

IMO, the only reason they die in threes is because we restart the count on the third death.
There's too much of it going around these days. |

"Green Acres" was my favorite TV show. Still is. Did you know Eddie Albert was 99 years old, born in 1906. That's quite something!

OK, Joey, what if we say they only die in prime numbers? |
