Preamps and mics

I'm setting up a resophonic guitar for stage use. I bought a McIntyre for the spider, and I'm weeding my way through past Forum posts concerning preamps and condenser mics. It seems from our members and others that the Rane AP13 is a class act. Has anyone any experience or opinion of the Baggs Mixpro?

I'd also appreciate hearing any comments/opinions of external mics like the Audio Technica Pro35x or others.
