Steel Guitar Alive and well in Tempe tonight

Saw Neko Case, Calexico and some other band walked in when they were playing, don't know who they were. All 3 bands had steel players.Jon Rauhouse with Neko and he was playing with the first band when I walked in so they had 2 steel players. And Calexico, I never heard of them before and now I've never heard anything like them before. Don't know how to describe them- Mariachi Rock w\a steel guitar? It was pretty much a college crowd and they loved it.
