Well not exactly. I saw Big Sandy and the boys at La Vida Roadhouse Friday night. Stood off to the side of Lee and watched him play for quite a number of tunes (there were three or four of us standing there). He was playing a Stringmaster and doing quite a bit of jumping between necks. At the end of the night I said hello and asked him if he would demonstate his bar bouncing technique and he gladly complied. Nice fellow and, as we all know,course a great player.

Yes, I did that same exact thing when they were in N.Y. I stood off to the side and watched everything that I could. He has so much technique and you can learn so much just by watching up close. Got a chance to speak to Big Sandy who was more than willing to shoot the breeze. Very nice person. I wish that they would come around this way more often.
