Looking through the archives I found the comment, concerning Regals, that the RD45 had significantly wider string spacing at the nut than the RD75. I've certainly noticed that it seems to be wider than the Dobros(R) that I've seen, and I found the Regals very playable, in large part for that reason.
My question (I'm getting there!) is:
as regards string spacing at the nut, how do a) the Melobros b) the Beard Road-o-phonic compare to the Regal RD45?
Constantly searching for perfection...
Thanks in advance
Nick

I doubt you'd find anybody that has owned all three of these guitars and could respond to this question. You might try contacting Beard and Melobar and asking them to report the measurements you seek.
