After advice on a thread here I just got my #27 Pickup of the World. After trying it just about everywhere I finally got a killer sound by sticking it to the 'treble' of the 3 cones.Very natural and warm and no 'booming'.

Hi Matt. Can I ask what you're using it on? (I know I recommended it but I can't remember the thread) I'm glad it worked so well for you.

I have a tri-cone made by a european company called Continental. It seems to be an exact clone of a National 'Style 1' (but without the disadvantages 36% import duty,17% Value added tax, and a worthless euro!)
