Tuning Machine Problems

Those are Kluson tuners and you can replace them by getting them at http://www.allparts.com/allparts/aplist.nsf/all/mainpage?Open
Now these tuners then that you have were rigged with that barrel type post and mounted on a bracket.
I have replaced them with the Kluson of today and they are great and the post are more like a guitar post but still fill the area across the pan and work dang good.
They are cheap enough and I have never been able to go in a open one up and work on it and it being less the hassel to buying a new one.
