Man what a great tune, not a bit of steel in it but could be, was a real pain to find and it's a real toe tapper for catchin' ones ear. I'm talking about the tune by Basia called "Cruising for Bruising" Been hearing it on the radio for 10 years and could never find any info on it. Finally found it by doing a lyric search on the net.

Same thing for "My city was gone" by the Pretenders. That one took 5 years of wondering. No, the name is not "OHIO" as one would think from the repeated lyrics of the tune. The net comes thru, now to get my order in to Amazon.

I've been huntin' for anything, anything at all by a band called Simon Stokes and the Black Whip Thrill Band. Their biggest hit (if you can call it a hit) was a song called "Captain Howdy", which was based on the devil from Peter Blaty's book The Exorcist. They also did a song based on the final scene from Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.....really twisted minds in that band.

Keep on pickin'
