I was going through some of my record collection and was listening to some of his old albums recently. Man, what a smooth singer!!! He must have really liked steel because the albums are loaded with steel!!! Lloyd Green, Hal Rugg, and I have one that has John Hughey on it. Good stuff. The best part is I got them at a flea market six of his LPs for $8.00. |

Saw him with the Hag one night in Anaheim back in the 70's when "Don't Pay The Randsom Honey, I Escaped" was popular. What a funny song! Any of you guys ever try that one?
