Let the gouging begin - you gotta be Kerry/Bush-rich or a real big fan to shell out the big sheckles. The big rock acts are pricey with a cap "P".

Van Halen $60.00 - $90.00
Bob Dylan & Willie Nelson $45.00
Ozzfest $35.25 - $75.25
Tim McGraw $39.50 - $59.50
Kenny Cheesy $39.50 - $59.50
Brooks & Dunn $20.00 - $33.00
Travis Tritt $20.00 - $25.00

Screw this. Tonite for $20 I'll take back roads to a campground and see 8 name bluegrass bands.

See ya -
Drew

I hear that Move On "." Org has some pretty spiffy shows coming up where you can throw a few bucks into you're guy's first amendment fund..

Whoever that might be...

This is a topic I'm familar with. I must admit I haven't been to too many concerts for the very reason I don't wana pay huge prices for crappy seats. Bout 4 or 5 years ago I payed like $60 to see George Strait at the Oakland colliseum and even with binoculars he was appeard to be 1/4 inch tall. When I worked in Radio, (KEJC 93.9 FM Modesto, Ca.) I got to go to the shows for free, I was front and center or back stage for Hag, Vince Gill, B.B. King, Leann Womack, Ronnie Milsap, Freddy Fender, and a few more. Guess I am spoiled. Seats a mile away for anything over $5 is not for me.

Too bad Ozzfest is $75.25, Iwas really hoping to attend this year. Isn't Ozzy using a steel guitar now?

On a more serious note, I paid $35 to see Richard Thompson at the House of Blues 2 months ago and it was totally worth it! Intimate place, great musicians, plus a triple encore.
