Chris: What do you mean by fiddle scales? Here is a site that shows the fingerings for different scales on different stringed instruments.

My fiddle does not have scales, it has strings, bridge , and bow. Don't smell fishy either. Forgive me. Icouldn't resist...Jennings

Chris,
try: www.tabledit.com

Originally this tab site started out mainly for guitar, but has grown to include banjo,
mandolin, fiddle, accordion, dulcimer.

Guitar dominates, but I'm starting to see increasingly more tabs for the other mentioned instruments since I signed on in 1998. Of course, I'm sure you know, standard mandolin and fiddle tunings are the same, hence, a double whammy for either.

You can download a FREE demo trial version,
and the full version costs around $55 that includes free lifetime upgrades/updates.

Well worth it, IMHO.

thanks for the replies. i am looking for tab for pedal steel that is "fiddle scales" tabbed out. i am not sure if i am using the correct terminology here to describe these scales. i am looking for the type of scales that seem to be going up the scale and down the scale simultaneously, if that makes any sense, like a fiddle sounds in a good bluegrass jam session, similar to a circular scale. hopefully someone knows what i am talking about.....

It sounds like you're looking for counterpoint licks. Do a search for "counterpoint" in the Tablature section and you'll find many.
