Any one know anything about these guitars. Last week in Waikiki I saw both Alan Akaka, and Greg Sardinha playing these. Alan had two different models, one that looked kind of Stringmasterish,and another with an outstanding sunburst design on it. They sounded real sweet, especially considering the limited. I forgot to ask either player about their guitars. I assume they are custom made on the Islands. Any one here got one? What d'ya think?

Actually they're made in Japan. Yasu Kamiya used to work at the Sho-Bud factory, then moved back to Japan. The Canopus web site has more information about these guitars and some good pictures.
