I just read that Carlene Carter (she's the daughter of June and Carl Smith) was arrested and is awaiting a trial, bond cancelled.
No information was given as of now what the reason is, but she was already charged in 2002 with identity theft to obtain prescription drugs. The news say she might face up to twelve years imprisonment (source CNN)

I'm so sorry to hear this news - I did an album and a London West End show with Carlene in the '80s and she always seemed so carefree and contented. She used to make a big fuss of me, and was kindness itself. How sad that she should come to this.
The loss of some of her family recently can't have helped - I pray that she finds her way again after this is resolved.
