Here's a question from a friend of mine.
Anyone know this??

I'm sending this email to people of 'my vintage' that might know what the
Oak Ridge Boys are referring to in one of their songs titled "American
Beauty". They refer to what my hearing thinks as "strummin on a V-12 '48".
At first I thought it might have been a musical instrument, but now I'm
thinking it might refer to a car and perhaps I got the 'strummin' wrong.
Any help? Lyle

I'm not familiar with the song....but one of the great classic automobiles is the 1948 V-12 Lincoln Continental.
