Does antone have an email or phone # for Quarterman? I understand that he repairs vintage cones. I have a 1928 Style 2.5 squareneck and would love to have the original cones repaired. Thanks in advance.....Ed Mooney

Ed,try calling Paul Beard @301-733-8271,or paulb@beardguitars.com.He is a major distributer of Quarterman cones, and could probably put you in contact with John.

You can also contact National. Or this guy http://www.roots66.com/ngr/ he was a tech at National for years.

One recommend I'll give after building two tricones is that if you need new cones get Nationals. Quarterman makes a great Dobro cone but National makes a more historically correct cone, and more importantly, a better sounding one
