Kenny's new single is "There Goes My Life" and it's #1 this week.
Great song, and great playing Sonny Garrish!

It is a very good song, Theresa. I'm not sure Kenny fully understands it. On American Country Countdown he said that he got a lot of feedback from people who said it really touched them, and then proceeded to explain that it was "a song about a girl who moves out west."

Um... well, close Kenny. Just keep singin', bud.

But back to the point, yes, excellent song, excellent pedal steel!

I don't think Kenny's a Daddy yet. Once he is, he'll understand.

He sure sings the fire out of it, though.

do you know something you'd care to share with the rest of the class?

Sorry about that - my pet monkey got into the computer again.

I've changed the password now. (What do monkeys know about country music, anyway?)

I remember when Kenny used to sing at a local Mexican cuisine restaurant with just him and his guitar for tips while he was in college here in East TN. I didn't see any "Star Quality" back then, an opinion that has not changed. I am glad he has done well. It gives hope to all those others who lack talent but have a lot of ambition.

Before this gets closed, I'll say that I wasn't a big fan at first. But the boy's got talent, he's worked hard at it, and he SURE knows how to pick a song!

I'm a little slow in appreciating these young upstarts- so many of them lack substance. I didn't learn to appreciate Kenny until my daughters got me to listening to him.

I've got to admit that I liked the Tim McGraw/police horse incident. That was kinda cool

And... his kind of music is good for steel players. We need more Kenny and less Kid Rock!
