I got this DVD as a Christmas gift (the George referred to is George Harrison) and it's fantastic!
It was recorded in London November 2002 as a tribute to the music of George Harrison, with Eric Clapton anchoring the band, but it has so much more....
Starting out with a set of Indian music featuring Ravi Shankar's daughter (no, not Nora Jones!) playing some incredible sitar.
The rest is of course, his well known songs, played with impeccable detail by the musicians and singers.
Other than featuring very tasteful slide guitar playing in almost every song, there's no pedal steel to be heard of course...although BJ Cole would have fit right in.
If you liked the Beatles, and especially George Harrison, you will love this DVD!
