We'ere just back from 3 hot (35 to 40 C every day and too hot to get into heat and rut) weeks on Mauritius to celebrate 30 years of marriage, and guess what we heard on that little island's radio - "If tomorrow never comes" and also several songs with Shania Twain and Martina McBride. We also heard several country songs by a local singer at a wedding party - all up tempo to fit the dominant hot african rhythms on that island. Not much room for soft sad ballads there, but a good holiday place if you forget about music and go for intense lazying instead.
