And so we're struggling to accrue
all those things so bright and new,
while all our values go askew,
and our real true friends are few.

And someday we'll realize
that all those things that grabbed our eyes
were just a silly little prize
that came and knocked us down to size.

Yeah, happiness is hard to find-
you know it's just a state of mind,
'cause we're all runnin' round half-blind
and tryin' not to be the kind

That doesn't know---which way to go.

Well I just sent in the copyright SR forms and it is now published under my own little self publishing co..

So Jimbo..ohh..Jimbeaux that is...( sorry )

You don't get any royalities..I get them all....

It's not who writes the song..it's who fills out the forms and mails them in first..!

ah yes..the sweet sound of success...

{ well I was wondering what would happen...
Donny seems to have finished A song himself and it's not bad in many ways..
. I think Tony as copywritten Jim's Ooh ooh.

If there was an editable whole I would have done a version of it.
AND if it was good, ALL contributers would have been on copywrite.}

So { after Pat's 1st, who threw in an interesting curveball,
but without Emmett...who can try a good line later...
I continue in what seems to be a woman to woman song now.( Your song Moderator.}

To be a friend and not pursure the man that we both love..

What song had the line:

Woodpecker settin' on a telephone line

Said, I'll bet your _ _ _ _ _ _ ain't as long as mine......??

If it's public domain, maybe we could use it.
