I saw Bruce's new video on CMT last night. Now, I love Bruce, but what are they doing playing him on CMT? If you polled a thousand Americans, 986 of them would know who Bruce Springsteen is. If you asked, "What kind of music does he play?", not one of them would say "country". What's wrong with this picture?

"They are runnin' scared and grasping at straws".
They'll do anything to popularize the country market...and that's going a little too far......but lets see "Just" how stupid the buyers and watchers really are....

Funny story I heard about 'ol Bruce. Way back when, he was just a side man with some of his buds in a band they had formed. All the guys took turns on vocals, 'cept for poor Bruce. They told him something to the effect of, "Sorry, We don't want you to sing." Who would have dreamed this vocal reject would leave his pals in the dust and later rise to the top of the charts? Go figure.

Its kind of strange that some of the big shows this year that had Tele's and pedal steels on stage were Springsteen, Dylan and The Rolling Stones. While the big "Country Shows" had the smoke machines and fireworks and very few Tele's and Steels.
