Well John, it sounds good, but I don't think they'll ever break the stranglehold the radio stations have today. Once the big money starts flowing, it can never be stopped. You're talking about a nationwide "network" (no pun intended) that's worth billions! Even when monopolies are broken up, the public seldom benefits. You need only to compare your utilitiy bills with those you got 10-15 years ago to see this.

Interestingly enough I wrote an E mail to my congressman(Rep Shays R) about this issue just yesterday. I recieved a phone call within an hour and a half from his business liason saying that they are VERY interested in this issue. We had a very open and enlightening conversation.

This stuff is just starting to hit the radar in a big way. The more we get this Clearchannel stuff in the ear of our lawmakers the better.
