Marty Muse steel + Brian Hoefeldt tele is always a little slice of Brumley/Rich magic in my book (Pete Finney is slick too when gigged with them live) - Bar Exam is another great example from their new CD, it's my favorite cut from it. |

I have seen the Derailers' video for "Bar Exam" on GAC (Great American Country) on cable, several times. Good video, and a very good honky tonk song, IMHO. Steel and lead guitar are both first class.

"Bar Exam" was quite a popular song when the Derailers appeared on the Delbert cruise last January. Killer band!
