Another biab question

Does anyone know how to edit the bass notes with this program. When I try to change a bass note, it returns back to the note that was there before, as soon as I hit "play".
I'm trying to record my steel with it, but this bass thing is a pain in the neck.oops wrong section, should be in electronics.
