I just got one of these [Fender Vol/tone pedal] and it's got a scratchy spot on the volume pot, I got a good enough deal on it so's I don't mind the problem of repairing it but I'm wondering if anyone knows what the best pot is to use to replace the old one? Do any of todays manufacturers produce anything as high quality and solid as those old pots? All the new ones seem to be very cheap and weak looking. I'm also concerned that the roller won't fit on to a modern pot, any ideas on how to keep this thing working and not having the new components change my sound??
