Does anybody remember a song called "I Love My Truck"?
I did a few lyric searches but couldn't find it.
It was briefly popular in the 70's/80's (I think).
Here's what I kinda remember about the chorus:

I
I love My truck

V
It's right outside

I
It aint much ???

V
But it's a hell of a ride

IV
Don't care who lives

I
Don't care who dies

V
I love my truck,

I
It's right outside

Thanks in advance for any hints!
Pete

Hint #1: Glen Campbell had a hit with it.

Pete,
If you can't find the lyrics in text form, here's a link to a site that will let you listen to the song and you can write them down.
http://www.pops2u.co.kr/music/music_list.asp?code=G&page=7

Scroll down to all the Glen Campbell songs and pick "I Love My Truck". Hope this helps.

My media player wouldn't work on that site. Just gumdrops circling around. What's the deal?

I remember a little:

D
I love my truck.
A7
She's right outside.
D
I ain't got much luck,
A7
But I sure got a ride.
G
Don't matter who lived.
A7
Don't matter who died.
A7 D
I got my truck right by my side.

verse 1
D
Well, it'll just get you down.
D G
You let that get to you.
D
Everybody's saying something.
A7
None of it's true.
D
Well I just don't care,
D G
When them times get hard.
D
Cause I've got everything I need.
A7 D
Right out in my yard.

verse 2
You got sally and you got Sue,
I got a Chevrolet.
It takes me home after work,
Don't ever miss a date.
It don't care who I am,
It don't care what I ain't.
She ain't no cheap pickup hoss,
She just needs a couple coats of paint.

verse 3
She don't care,
If I don't work a lick.
She'll start every time,
If the choke don't stick.
I know that she will never,
Never ever doubt me.
For she never leaves home without me.

I love my truck as well 'cept it's a Ford
Ken

I'm getting TIRED of editing this to get the chords in the right place. Hope it works finally. If not, you get the idea.
