I just got Merle's new CD called Roots Vol.1
Its the best thing I have heard in years,and thank's to everyone conserned theres no okie from muskogee on it anywhere! What is on it is great non-pedal steel by Norm Hamlet and some of the best old fiddle licks from Abe Manuel,Jr I have heard in many years. The rest of the group is not bad eather. If any of you like old Hank&Lefty give it a listen.
