This should answer your question. Very sad to see it go. Rose is a wonderful lady and had sent me many songs with steel in them to use on the Rebel™ and Ricky site.

Thanks Graham,
Sure a shame to see that site go. Maybe we can get her enough money to get the site back up and going again. I sure did enjoy that site. Thanks for the info.......

Most welcome. Really hope she gets it all together. She is a super person and loves real classic country. She does have a program on Live365 still that features a lot of her old material. Do a search in Yahoo for "Record Lady" and you should find it.
Also, here is a couple of links to 2 other real good classic country oldies sites. Not as extensive as hers was, but both James and Nick have some good material that is updated quite frequently.

I'm sending a donation! It was worth a lot to me to find one of the records that started me on the steel guitar trail posted on her website. I had looked for this record (quite unsuccessfully) for almost 40 years. It really made me feel good to hear it again after all that time.

I heard songs on the Record Lady's site that I had'nt heard since I was a young boy! I hope anyone that enjoy's her site will help her to keep it going with another server. And that is expensive!

Several of the clients that I do websites for use www.addr.com as a host. It's not too expensive, just $9.95 per month, and that includes your own domain name. The only other charge that I'm aware of is the $35.00 fee for registering the domain.

By the way, the $9.95 is for 100 megs of storage space, and 4 gigs of traffic per month. If more is needed, it's $14.95 per month for 200 megs of storage space, and 6 gigs of traffic. There's also a 10% discount if you pay a year in advance.

If enough were interested, this wouldn't be bad at all.

Lem
