Hello. I am mainly a PSG player, but recently picked up DOBRO. I got a new Epiphone "the Spider" (like a student model I guess) for 150£ = 237$. That must have been a bargain or what? I think I made a good deal.......

Thanks Sveinung.

Epiphone makes a decent entry-level resophonic guitar. Like most guitars in that price range, it can be improved by replacing some parts. If you want to try making your guitar sound better than it already does, try replacing the plastic nut with one made of bone, ivory or similar material. Another significant improvement in sound can be obtained by replacing the cone with a Quarterman cone (available through Paul Beard Guitars).
Of course, if you like the guitar the way it sounds, then keep it as it is. Either way, that's a very decent price for a resophonic guitar.
