Anyone know who played steel on "Jealous Hearted Me" by Minnie Pearl? (Also, who was the guitar - a great break, sounded like maybe Grady Martin?). I heard it today on an old RCA album, "Stars of the Grand Ole Opry" and figured if *anybody* knows, someone here will...

I used to have that album on a cassette I bought from RCA Victor Music Service years ago. Don't know who the steeler was but will venture that it could have been Billy Robinson. He appeared incognito on a LOT of records back then and was in the Opry staff band. But it also could have been Jerry Byrd, Shot Jackson, or a dozen other players.

Don't you love the words to "Jealous Hearted Me"? Reminds me of myself: "I like fiddles and sauerkraut, I get my mail on the rural route" etc. Yes sir...
