Hi Steel Forum Members,
Please remember Bud Tutmarc in your prayers! I do not know all the details but apparently he has had a stroke.
Bud is a fine Christian man, but we need to lift him up in our prayers. God is still on the throne and He does listen to and answer prayers. We are to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters. So, I ask you to please remember him in your prayers.
Bud is a great non-pedal steel player and he has several great steel guitar CDs and cassettes of Gospel music played on his Hawaiian steel guitar. I have been greatly blessed by his Gospel recordings.
God Bless you all!

AMEN to that ! Bud not only suffered a stroke, but also a heart attack. It's hard to imagine his 6'3" frame of laughter, joy and music being handicapped, unable to use his left hand and unable to walk. If ANYONE needs our prayers, Bud certainly does ! God will hear you and grant Bud his mercies. |

I have been a fan of Bud and his family's work ever since I fell in love with the steel guitar. My thoughts and prayers will be with him.I have visited the new Experience Music Project museum in Seattle twice since it opened last week and was delighted to discover a whole display dedicatd to the Tutmarcs'innovative Audiovox electric insruments from the thirties and forties. |

Bud is a dear friend of me and my family. His music during the 40's and 50's was one of the reasons I got into the steel. He played at our wedding and I got to make music with him in January of this year in Desert Palms. We are holding him up to our Lord for his complete recovery and for his lovely wife Opal. Our love is sent,

Leonard T Zinn and I have sent Bud some cards along with our love and prayers.
We do continue to pray for him and know God truly has his hand on Bud.
What a really fine person Bud is and we want him to be around for a long long time to come. We pray that is God's will and that he will be wholly restored. Evelyn |

Bud is a fine player and a very nice man. I met him only once, about five years ago, and he consented to let me publish his article about his father on my Web site.
I'm sorry to hear of his health problems, and I wish him a full recovery. |

Hi Guys and Dolls,
I am glad to see that some are responding to this posting. Bud needs our prayers!
We are to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters. It is amazing to me that more people will not respond to the need of a Christian brother. They can respond to a silly posting about some nonsense, but when a brother's life is in the balance they will not respond. It is no wonder that several players have left the Forum.
James 5:16
"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much."
My point is we need to pray for one another. We all need prayer.
However, those that have responded, God bless you.
