funny... somehow my top 10 for 2000 all seem to have been recorded before 1974... most before 1966!

Martin--did the Handsome Family swing through Germany on their recent tour? Just wondering if you caught their show there. A buddy of mine was playing drums/percussion for them. Good to see a Chicago act is reaching Germany.

Hi Chris,

they played in Germany indeed but I couldn't catch them since my father got sick and I had to get home. I exchanged a few mails with Rennie Sparks, they seem to be really nice people. I was glad I could help them getting a record deal for Europe, they don't sell truckloads over here but they have quite some fans. Their songs are so unique, I just love them. Reminds me of the Anthology sometimes.
