Has anyone heard the latest from Mr. Cole? He has teamed up with a DJ by the name of Luke Vibert. The album "Stop the Panic" is an interesting one. I suggest a listen.

Any thoughts on the benefits/dangers of mixing electronic music with pedal steel?

One could get shocked. But seriously, I think it's a good idea. I feel that there is a place for steel guitar in every kind of music. I salute BJ Cole for venturing into these uncharted waters.
